Sorry to hear about this terrible disease, I am a Christian and believe in miracles and will pray for her that she will be healed in the name of Jesus, don't give up hope and I will pray. In Jesus name Amen. Keep me updated on her condition Pam Holloway
My girlfriend in Calif. is interested in doing t shirts also, her name is Nancy Garcia in Passedina, ( married to a guy named Hugo) not sure of her phone number but I will look for her e-mail address, you could write her and see if you both could come up with something to sell?? Just an idea. If you are at all interested I will send you her e-mail address. You can just tell her what you want to do and no promises, but see what she says. God Bless/ In Christ Pam Holloway remind me by e-mailing me at pamlpsm@yahoo.com ( subject: Nancy) Good to go for your dream, I have heard that if people don't laugh when you tell them your dream, it isn't big enough.
Thanks for your encouragment and it is true and I know from past problems that God does come through for those who trust him. God Bless/ In Christ Pam Holloway
Sorry I didn't get back with you as I just saw your letter. I wish I could help you and I want to know more about your life and troubles. I have had it hard especially since my husband was diagnosed with cancer in Sept. 2008, but since I really believe strongly in prayer and miracles, my husband is completly cancer free and I just opened up a thrift store with hardly any money.
I am not saying this to brag but I give the glory to God and answered prayer. As I was in a very bad place and could of sunk into a pity party but decided to make the best of it and things have turned around. It actually propelled me to be couragous and do the things I always dreamed of just realizing that now is the time I need to do it. It has been alot of hard work and I am sore.
I want to encourage you to make the best of your situation, pray, find a good church and get what ever help you need, ask for help and be couragous and do the things you have dreamed of, start small and just take baby steps. I don't have hardly any money so it is not the money, it is what you are willing to put in to it and try. God is real, and I know he has helped me to do this and opened doors for me and gave me courage and wisdom. He helped provide the small amount of money I needed and contacts of people that I met that helped me find the right building etc. and even my neice helped me make a decision because of something God showed her that helped me know that the building I was looking to rent was the right one. I asked God to show me a sign to let me know it was the right place and he did.
Jesus is truly the only way to God, just pray and ask him to reveal himself to you and he will, I promise. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway
I am sorry about all your problems and I am a Christian and want to testify that I have had serious (very serious) difficulties in my life but because I learned at an early age the power of prayer all my problems have had solutions that were awsome. ( all thinks work together for good for those who love God the Bible says) I know you would say that you love God, but have you ignored him for too long? He is waiting to hear from you, just start by talking to him like you would a friend. Trust me he will answer.
He wants committment also.
Write me if you want a shoulder to cry on. Sorry at this time I am low on funds, I can pay my bills but very little left over. I have an investment that hopefully will pay off big soon, but when it does, it will just wipe out some of my credit card debt. My husband ( who is cancer free now) was diagnosed in Sept. 08 with throat cancer. I can pray for you and listen and sometimes I have good ideas, too. I call it wisdom. Sometimes a little wisdom is better then money. Money helps but it is not the answer to everything. God knows we need money, trust me put him first and you will have the money you need the bible says so in Matthew 6-31to 33( If you have a bible or google it) and you can take that to the bank. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway
I think you can go to the State for Medical help and even the hospital has money to help people who can not afford to pay. I found this out because my husband is disabled and then he got cancer and I had the State pay for everything and the bill was in the thousands. The only bill I have to pay is the dental, but I had insurance pay for some of that. He had thousands of dollars of dental work done, too. I have about $20,000 plus in credit card bills but am happy he survived this cancer scare (stage 4) his cancer is gone in his throat, and they will run tests to be sure it is gone in his lymph nodes or remove them, but the doctor can not feel them any more ( was real hard before radiation and chemo) I realize that God/Jesus healed my husband as I felt he promised me before Christmas he would heal him and he did. So I believe that nothing will show up in the tests of his lymph nodes.
Trust God and be happy that your alive and try hard to get into good health, eat right and exercise etc.. Maker's diet is a good book at Barnes and Nobel. ( Jordon Rubin) join a gym ( even though it costs money) and you may not have enough try to find free ways to exercise. I will pray for you and your son. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway
I am sorry to hear about your husband dying and loss of job. I have my own problems but I am writing because I feel sympathy for you and I don't have much extra money so I am not the one at this time that could give you money ( sorry) but advice and prayers. Go to Social Security because there should be money for being a widow, go to unemployment and food banks, welfare etc... My husband had cancer but I believe it is all gone and he is doing very good, thank God and I give the credit to lots of prayer and my church support, God's word and saying God's word and positive words of faith, faith in Jesus Christ and faith in divine healing. I am sure you believe in God and now you have to use what faith you have and pray for guidance and help and wisdom. I hope you are not homeless or anything, and I will pray for you. Besides your financial problems, just the heart brokeness of losing the one you love. I know because my husband was in a coma years ago and I mourned him then and then he came back to me and then he almost died recently with stage 4 cancer but was healed and now I have my love back twice, I am no better then you but I have great faith in Jesus Christ and he has been my shepherd as Pslams 23 says: He leads me besides the still waters and restores my soul. He will do the same for you. I needed help when my husband was in a coma and God provided me money from the community I lived in and strangers helped me and churches and friends and family and miracles happened daily. The pain of almost losing my husband was made a little easier because all the bills were paid, right now I may have to go bankrupt and even though I am not pennyless, things are really tight and when the accident happened years ago in the 1990's money just fell down from heaven, I am still waiting for the money to fall down from heaven and I believe it will ( because I don't want to go bankrupt) My daughter just started College and she will have to pay for it all ( what ever the grants and gifts don't cover) I wish I could help her, but we need to recover from this financial difficult time so I can relate to you and hope that both of us will find a way to end up on our feet ( so to speak) I have enough money to keep afloat for awhile, but my credit card bills are over $20,000. I am waiting for my miracle and I know it is coming. Write me and we can encourage each other. Pamlpsm@yahoo.com ( Put your name in subject) God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway
I read your story and I don't know if it is true as on the internet it is hard to tell but I will pray for you and your daughter and that you will get justice, please read the Bible Psalms 91 and make God/ Christ your refuge and he will give his angles to protect you and give you peace with your enemies. I know your country sounds really bad and there are problems here in America but mostly just thieves and thugs not too much government corruption. You may think we are all rich here in America but the people on this site are all in financial difficulties, but I will pray and God hears my prayers because I pray in faith, but you can also pray and God will hear your prayer. Sometimes we feel we are alone but you are never alone, and sometimes we feel our problems are beyond help but they are not. Have hope and let me know how you do in your search for justice, "Lord Jesus give this man his daughter and family and the help he needs to get the justice and help him to get the money he needs and health to be able to survive, in Jesus name I pray. Amen. God Bless/In Christ Pam
Sorry to hear about your losses, I am writing because I want to let you know that God loves you and we all have hard times ( it is a human thing) My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, my mom with lung cancer and my dad had another cancer recently after about 3 years ago he had a miracle healing of cancer. All is not lost because my daughter got accepted to a Christian University in Calif. my husband looks like he has no more cancer ( needs to have more tests run but Dr.'s think all cancer is gone and I believe so) My dad is ready to move into my sister's home and is doing better, my mom went to Big Lots ( that is a big deal for her) I may have $20,000 coming in a couple of month (long story) and I got credited a doctor bills because medicaid paid for it ( that I had previously paid for) and most all my medical bills are paid. I still have some problems but I just trust the Lord and he gives me the solution to all my problems, but in the mean time don't let the devil steal your joy. I am sorry that you had some recent set backs with job loss but if your a smart gal and healthy there is always something you can find to do. I just want to encourage you that there is hope, don't forget to pray and draw close to the Lord Jesus in this trying time. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway
If you are low income you can get govenment help by getting Medicaid that will sometimes be retroactive, also the hospital usually have a bridge type program that will pay off about 75% of bill ask the financial dept at hospital. There is always bankruptcy or debt relieve. If your husband is considered disabled ( hopefully not) then you can get medicare but they are probably not retro but will help in any future medical problems (hopefully you won't have any) My husband had throat cancer and he is recovering and looks like cancer free but I had to go the government for help and I am very much in debt but most of my medical is paid for ( I even had a doctor's office call me and say they were going to credit me back some money I paid on bill because they got paid by medicaid. We own a house and three cars and have a steady income and qualified, so check to see if you do. Hope this helps God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway
Chuck, I am only responding because I know what you are going through, as my husband and I who were newly married in the 1980's right before our wedding his X-Wife served us with child support money owed in the thousand of dollars, my husband only had to pay $200 a month but it added up to thousands and sometimes he said her paid in cash and we tried to gather all the checks we had and she had copies of some ( his X) but when our house sold she got a large portion. Then she tried to get us to pay for half his braces and every time we turned around she wanted more money and we had to go to court and pay court appointed accountants and they went through our business and we wanted to just have his son half the time and get joint custody instead of giving her the money but we dropped that. My husband was in a car accident and is disabled and we don't own our business anymore. His son is all grown up and now they have hardly any relationship at all because his mom poisioned it and we moved far away and he did not see his son much. If we had it all to do different we would have got a good lawyer and got joint custody and had more of a say in his life. I know also the feeling of having alot of debt. and can't really help you much as I have about $20,000 plus. My husband had some recent medical problems and we got State help with some but not all was covered at first and the gas and food prices etc.... I put my trust in the Lord Jesus and he has never forsaken the righteous ( as the Scripture says) and supplies all my needs according to his riches in glory. I should have some money coming in Jan. or Feb. that will wipe out all my debt. I am sorry about your situation and if you have your health and you are strong enough to work, find the best paying job possible and slowly get out of debt. and tithing to your church will bring a blessing to you. ( these are just things that I have learned, but have not always been faithful to do) Keep the faith. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway
The last time my husband went to the doctor the doctor said that all looked good and the only thing he thought was left was the mucousitous (sp?) from the radiation, and he may need to have his lymphnodes removed but to wait until his CT Scan is done. It has been a hard few months but we feel the worst is behind us. He was diagnosed with throat cancer starting from his tonsil and he did not smoke and hasn't drank for years. He has regained his strength and is doing things around the house he has not done for awhile. It is the day after Christmas and we had slim pickings ( gifts) around the tree but the best gift of all ( besides God's Son- Jesus) was that my husband was healed. Thank you Lord. I want to encourage you all to have faith and pray because God is good and he answers prayer if you just believe and have faith in his goodness. Pam Holloway God Bless/IN Christ and God will provide all our needs
Thanks for the pics. I really will keep you in my prayers that you have the strength to do what you need to do. Don't allow bitterness to consume you- it is a poison that does no harm to the person you hate only to yourself/ so try to not hate even though some one does you wrong. But forgiveness does not mean that you think what they did was right, it was still wrong you just choose to be whole and be merciful ( just like God is) I know from experience since my husband was almost killed by a driver who had been drinking (but not considered drunk) he said the sun got in his eye. I think he was lying and just being reckless, I had to forgive him but I think he made some mistakes, but I will never know (only God knows but I just need to forgive) I know with this family it was a deliberate crime and just know that God had nothing to do with it(some people blame God when things go wrong) and you will see your boy some day. Just as sure as I am real God is and he really cares for you and wants to mend your broken heart. You still need to try to get that baby ( I think)pray and ask Jesus what you should do to get that baby ask him for wisdom and he will give it to you. keep in touch and let me know your progress. I know you need money as we all do and I hope you get the money you need, I wish I could help but my husband has cancer and we are considering bankruptcy but in Jan. or Feb. I have some money that I am planning to get ( it is a long story)20K+ that will not even cover my debts but I will be in a better position to help. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway

Dear shawnsmom,
I think yours is the hardest blog I have read with what you have been through. I am not a lawyer but I'm wondering about the specifics of what happened. The grandchild you said was related to the murderer? I suppose that means it is the mother of the child who was the girlfriend of your son who had something to do with your son dying. If she was found guilty why in the world would you have a problem getting custody of the child? If the child is with the grandparents of the murderer, I think that any court would take that child away from them because of the situation. You need a lawyer who specializes in this kind of situation. Go to that lawyer and ask if they can help you to do this pro bono or you can make payments or put it on a credit card but you need to get her away from these people if they really are of the family who murdered your son, you need to save her from this family. Maybe legal aid or someone can help you fill out the paper work and then just hope the judge will listen to you, type it out in the court paper work the whole situation and hope you get a judge that will read it if you can't afford a lawyer ( which not too many people can but can you afford for your son's child to be in these people's control??) How did your son get mixed up with these people? I am a Christian and believe in the power or prayer, I will pray that you will find a solution, soon and get the money you need. Sorry I'm not rich and can't help you. My problems are very great but I have great faith and know I will end up on my feet ( so to speak) God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway
Thanks for commenting on God is good. I know that everyone on this site is going through tough times and that means me also. My husband was diagnosed with cancer and our financial picture is so high in debt that I was talking to bankruptcy offices and debt help but I will be getting $20K + next year ( it's a long story but it is going to happen in Jan. I believe by faith) then I won't have to go bankrupt and can get back on our feet, even though we were still on our feet if we are in debt it just gives me some hope. It is not from this site I think this is a great place to pray and vent but I don't think anyone has the extra money to help anyone here. The most important person to go to in time of need is God ( Christ) I and my family was in a serious car accident years ago and different people gave us about $12,000 and we got a settlement of about $60,000. I am not saying that you look to different people to give to you but look to God and he will send someone to help. I will be praying for you and your family, you should look at the book by Jordan Rubin called the Maker's Diet, he had alot of illnesses and through changing his eating he changed his health. I also believe in divine healing and my dad was miraculously healed of throat cancer 3 years ago ( he continued to smoke and he had another cancer just recently but we are believing for another miracle) My husband has cancer but he does not smoke or drink but I am going to make sure when he gets over this we are going to eat alot healtier then we have in the past. Alot of reasons that we are sick has to do with what we eat and sometimes it is not drastic changes just little changes, a little at a time- get some supplements etc.. I've heard a saying, someone said it is expensive to eat right and someone else said yes but you either pay now(for healtier foods) or pay the doctor later when you get sick. I have nothing to do with this book and I am only telling you to buy it because it has common sense and biblical ways of eating. You can get it at any book store. If you don't have the money just look at it when you are at the book store and you can get ideas on what changes you have to make. There are also other books that tell you what is healty to eat and on the internet there are alot of info. If you google Jordan Rubin you can get information for free probably about what is in his book (I know he is into coconut milk, goats milk and yogurt) see if your family feels better after trying that on a regular basis. Sorry about your sons pain, I am sure that he needs alot of help but be careful he does not get hooked on those pills and they only mask the problem. Getting healthy is going to take alot of work and finding out what is the reason for the pain and fixing it,and alot a prayer ( When my husband had his car accident I did not let him take any pain medication after he came home from the hospital and I sent him to a place that forced him to work out and get his muscles working again and that was the best thing for him, now that he has cancer he does not take any pain medication, he has some codeine but hasn't needed it, only some numbing stuff ( mouthwash) he doesn't want to take drugs to put him in a fog. I saw my uncle who fell off a ladder (we were told )and he took many pain pills and then he go M.S. and was bed ridden until he died, it was so awful and I vowed that my husband was not going to go that route when he got sick and I would find ways to make him stronger not weaker. My daughter who is 20, when she was 19 she got some mysterious numbness and felt weak and the doctors didn't know what it was ( she had problems sleeping also) I just had her sleep with me and would pray all through the night and we watched Christian T.V. we prayed and sang and she was healed-by prayer - what ever it was is gone and she is completely healed and the doctors never did know what it was. I know her and know it was real and not in her head ( the doctors were saying it may be panic attacks but she is not that type) My mom has a swelling problem and the doctors don't know why- they checked her for cancer and it is negative- she started taking some supplements and the swelling is almost gone ( the doctors still don't know why she is swelling) Thanks for sharing your struggle with me and I am glad that you liked my blog. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway

I know that it is hard raising four children in this day and age and when you are low income it is even harder. I just want to say that there is hope, I don't know if anyone ever really ever told you that there is healing for depression from the Lord Jesus. I had a really hard childhood and came to know the Lord as a teen and I had taken some drugs that messed up my head really bad (lsd etc...) I thought life if so hard I didn't have a desire to live even and I was tormented and had no peace and I was only a teenager, and then one day I was listening to a radio station and a Preacher was talking about asking Jesus in your heart ( saying John 3-16 God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosover believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life) He asked if anyone wants to receive the Lord pray this prayer: Sinners prayer ( something like) Father forgive me my sins dear Jesus come into my heart in Jesus name I pray amen. All my fear left and torment and I loved life and now I have Joy in my heart in spite of my problems and God is real in my life and provides for me and I am in my 50's and Jesus is more real then ever. The Bible says the Joy of the Lord is my strenth (say it out loud:positive confession) Pray the prayer and let me know how things go for you, you may already be a Christian, I hope so. I want to meet you in heaven some day. God Bless/In Christ Pam
I read your situation and think that you have a positive attitude and love for the Lord which is going to get you through the hard times. My husband is on social security disability and it has been hard for us to live on his disability check ( expecially when I am not working and our children are grown- as they give more money when you have minor children) but thank God we have steady income. My husband did plumbing for a while and we also were foster parents for about 7 years. I am trying to start a non profit organization and need a building down town in my home town but even though I have saved money for that there is never enough. My husband was just diagnosed with throat cancer and does not smoke but I believe he will survive this and we will figure away to pay all our bills ( which are close to $30,000.) which will get paid soon I believe- but not at this site. Any way this is a good place to vent and I don't expect anyone here to really help in any monetary way. I just have one thing to say about what you said about not praying for yourself ( Give us this day our daily bread- in the Lord's prayer show that we need to pray for ourselves and that is a lie someone sold you not to pray for yourself) So go ahead and do pray for yourselve and see the great things God in Christ will do for you. Let your faith soar. Pam
Yes there is the same help that a single mom can get. I know of a guy with 5 children, him and his wife divorced and he took two children with him and got government help and he also went to the Salvation army Christmas program for free gifts. I am glad to see a dad that is taking care of his kids. I am sure it is hard but can you fiqure out a way to work from home or ? If you found a good job you could pay for help. My husband was a plumbing contractor for years and made good money and was busy, maybe you need to get into plumbing, go to the Tec. College or be an apprentice and learn. It really is a good profession and makes good money. But right now the building industry is not good. You might need to change professions until the market gets better. In the meantime pray for guidance and listen to what your heavenly father has to say, he always knows what is best. Sorry I can't help you out financially. I have already told a couple of people I might help them but I need help too but I have a non profit organization I just got a 501 C-3 status from the I.R.S. and I just need to find a building to start a thrift store in Bellingham, Wa. But I only have $1000 to start it and there doesn't seem to be any places for that a month. But I will not give up. Don't get discouraged it is a hard time for everyone. God Bless./In Christ Pam
I just want to say that the Bible says all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose ( not sure if exact word because it is from memory) I know we are all in this world and each of us has a set a problems that are unique but trust me there is not a person alive who does not have problems and even though it gets really hard sometimes and God may seem far away, he is only a prayer away. The richest person in the world has their own set of problems and even though most people on this site have severe financial problems and health problems we have something in common. First we live in the most blessed country in the world and the poorest person in America is the richest person in most countries. I have been to third world countries and if you all think you have it rough you have no idea. We have been taught the truth of God's word and we have opportunity and the best doctors in the world and even though we may think that our problems are the worst when I get on this site I realize that my problems are tiny compared to others. That does not give me comfort because I think that everyone's pain breaks God's heart and it should not give me comfort in feeling I don't have it as bad as so and so. I just want you to know that you should not blame God for your troubles but trust him for your solution. He has one if you will only listen. Good Night God Bless/In Christ Pam

I don't know much about what you are going through but I want to admonish you to get the other breast looked at and don't let fear cripple you. Your kids need you and this will pass. Start changing life style and do all you can that is in your power to get healthy and about the money. Do you have a house or husband or what do you need exactly? I am a Christian and even though I have problems I trust the Lord to see me through and he does every time. Jesus loves you and that is just more then words, he is able to help you. He uses other people also but tonight say a prayer and ask him to send you a person that will be a blessing in your life and also pray for money or an idea of how to get money or a plan for your future. You have one, you know. Besides all that doctors do it is God that heals, either through medicines or a divine touch. Lord give this women a divine touch and healing in the name of Jesus and give her courage and show her what she should do to get healthy. In Christ God Bless Love Pam
Sorry about your pain. My husband was going to the dentist to get his teeth fixed and it cost over $2000 we put most on credit card but had Delta Dental (Ins. co) you might look into getting-they helped us also Aflac has some dental Insurance. There is some out there but it is expensive. I had to pay $4000 for my daughters braces and made $100 a month or so for years payment. We are very low income but you have to take care of your health and don't put it off. My husband was just diagnosed with cancer as he went to the dentist and they saw an unusual growth so if you just have bad teeth that can be repaired. My suggestion is to find a teaching school or low income dental program that is in your town ( we brought a friend to one and she had to wait in line and only 4 people get in but she got in and had her tooth or teeth fixed.) They are there in every city. Sea Mar is one. Or find a dentist who will take payments and just do one at a time as you can pay. It should be about $250 a tooth to pull. I know this may seem harsh but we have an income of under $1700 a month right now and it can be done. We may have to sacrifice not eating out so much. Sorry to hear that you stay home so much, you are young and should be at least going to church and other social things (not bars) I suppose your teeth problems are making you feel not so attractive. You are beautiful and I will pray for you that you will figure a way or someone will help you I can only give advice and hopefully something I said gives you and idea that you can use. God Bless/In Christs love Pam Holloway
I believe that God will provide all my needs and the righteous will not be forsaken or begging for bread. So I don't want to beg. I just want to tell my true story and if anyone has compassion then they can help then they will be a Blessing from the Lord. My husband was going to the dentist to have his teeth pain fixed and it cost over $2000 and insurance paid over that amount (thank God we has some dental insurance) The dentist noticed something wrong in my husbands mouth and it turned out to be throat cancer. My husband does not smoke or drink and we eat healthy and watch our weight etc.. Not couch potatoes. Our mounting bills are growing and we don't know how long we can juggle our credit card payments. We own our home and do not have a shady loan so we are not in danger of repo, but eventually we may not be able to make even the minimum on credit cards as we owe over $10,000. My credit is almost perfect and I hate to ruin it. I don't know what exactly I need but it is hard to be always thinking about the bills when I need to be thinking about getting my husband better, and it over shadows my taking care of him as I am so stressed out about the financial aspect of this sickness. We are getting State Medical help. Then there is our living expenses. I see all the people with worse problems then me who are close to living on the streets which is so sad and I feel blessed. I don't want to go bankrupt and I hope we can survive this without losing our good credit as I have never gone bankrupt even when my husband was in a serious car accident years ago and we just about lost everything. God helped us then and he will help us now. We got money by church and friends and strangers (about $12,000) and then we got a small settlement in 1991. We bought the house that we have now and I worked for non profit Christian Organization to help needy people and now I am in need again and it is humbling but we are all human and bad things happen but all things work together for good to those that love God and are called according to his purpose,(and I do). God Bless for reading. In Christ Love Pam Holloway
I'm having some problems right now with my husband having throat cancer I would like to help but I can't. I have a 20 year old daughter and I would hate to think of her being on the street. Do you have parents that are alive? Can you stay with any relatives? All I can do right now is offer advice and prayer. I worked at a women's shelter and have alot of knowledge so maybe I can be of some help. I live up North but in Washington State, we have two shelters here for single women. Check in your town to see if there are any that help single women only (YWCA) Maybe go somewhere like WallMart and try to get a job. I know it is hard to get on your feet when you start from nothing. I had a similar experience when I when out of the country to do Missionary work for a year or so and when I returned home I went to a place that was like a womens dorm , we shared a bathroom and kitchen. Thank God I met my husband then or I might still be there. I could of stayed with my mom but it was a disfunctual situation. You are young and if you position yourself and get off the street (rent a room in a house) get training for a vocation. I know you have heard it many times before but I never did graduate from college but I went to school to be a manicurist and there are classes at Goodwill that help with computer skills ( If you live in the USA) The good thing is that you are not on drugs do not do that and do not sell your body. You will end up in a ditch or worse. Pray ( and I will also) that your heavenly Father will send a person to you to help you or give you wisdom exactly what to do.(One time when I was Christian when I told her I was thinking of moving to a town where my Dad lived said that I should go and that when I did I was going to meet people who would invite me to church and I would go there for many years and grow in the Lord. At that time I was a wild girl and church was the last thing on my mind. I did move to my Dads and just what she said happend. So God still directs people. God is real and he cares for you. The world is a scary place, not like it was for me when I was your age ( I am 53) but there still are good people around, just harder to find. Years ago my husband was in a car accident and we had mostly strangers give us about $12,000 over a 6 month period but I know it was God who provided and I prayed to God/Jesus. Try praying and let me know what happens. God Bless You and I pray you get your answer. In Christ Pam
I want to tell you my dentist story to put this all in perspective. I was all stressed out about my husband-David he was in alot of tooth pain and he had to wait about a month until our dental insurance kicked in and he took antibiotics that were prescibed to my daughter and it cost (I lost count) over $2000+ and we had insurance pay for about half but we had to put over $2000 on a credit card then he wanted some more antibiotics and the dentist told him to go to the walk in clinic which was about $100, and then he was sent to a Ear nose and throat and that was about $100 and then they did a biopsy and we thought it was an infection caused by the dental work but no it was cancer and now he has been going to treatment for cancer and. I am writing this to help you to realize that this is a very small problem that you have-You can find a dental school or organization that helps low income people or put it on a credit card (like buying a car)or make monthly payments. Remove or fix the teeth that hurt the worst first. She can get a job that has dental insurance or you can. I hope that you can find someone to help you financially but $15,000 seems like alot for dental work. Find another dentist. My husband was charged about $250 for tooth removal and about $700 for root canal, we are very very low income and just put it on our credit card. We just have to trust that God will help us to pay the bill and heal my husband of cancer and we will live happily ever after. I have faith and you need to also. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway (sorry can't give $ at this time, but if we get a wind fall you will get some of it-promise). Pray for us.
Help. My husband had a brain injury in 1990 and I have had to take care of our family ( daughter and husband) since then. He has improved alot and even though he is on Social Security disability he has done some volunteer work and been a friend to others by visiting people in the hospital and convalesant homes. He recently has been ill and we can not afford to pay the premium for medicare so he does not have it or any medical insurance. We have an appointment to see an ear nose and throat specialist next week but we will have to go in debt, they may require expensive testing because he has some kind of growth in his mouth, I'm hoping it's just an infection since he spend the last 2 weeks getting extensive dental work that some was paid for by dental insurance policy he has, but about $ 1900 we had to put on a credit card. We are Christians and believe in Miracles and we need one. I have contacted State agency and may get some medical help there but since we each own a car (3) and rent out part of our home to a boarder we may not qualify for State help. I need prayer and financial help. My credit card debt is over $10,000 but before all this happened I could make monthly payment but I don't know if I will even be able to make the monthly payment. My daughter is planning on going to a Christian College in January that we will have to pay about $2000 plus Government loans, I was going to get a loan for that amount (Parent plus or ?) now I am not sure she will be able to go at all if I can't fiqure out how to come up with some money. I don't want her future to be ruined because of this problem. God Bess/In Christ Pam Holloway if you can help e-mail me at pamlpsm@yahoo.com
